#1 Youth Speaker for Coalitions

Alcohol education doesn’t have to be boring! Our whole platform began as a college movement – showing students they can make friends, have fun and feel good without using mind altering substances. Colleges and universities enjoy that Vive18 is nonjudgmental, interactive, funny, and actionable for students who use (and those who don’t). This higher ed presentation is great for first year orientation, welcome week, greek life and athletics. Presentations include:

  • Bystander Intervention
  • Research on Alcohol, Vaping, Marijuana
  • How Drugs Influence Mental Health
  • Protecting Your Goals
  • Alternative Ways to Socialize

Vive18 presenters are among the best drug prevention speakers in the nation for high school audiences. If you need someone who can relate to students who have already started using drugs, show them they can do better, while instilling confidence for the ones who are staying drug-free, make sure to request our lead high school substance use speaker, Tomas Barraza. The high school program emphasizes:

  • Social Norms (Majority of HS Students are NOT Using Drugs)
  • Drugs and Your Mental Health
  • Building Coping Skills in Healthy Ways
  • Science Behind Youth Alcohol, Vaping & THC Use
  • Having Fun & Feeling Good Without Drugs

Vive18 speaker, Jake White, is one of the best middle school drug prevention speakers in the U.S. Keeping a junior high crowd engaged, on task and learning through fun experiences is how we share the truth about youth substance use. Students this age are starting to see drug use around them and some are even starting to use, but the majority of students are not. This age appropriate message is perfect to help students continue to make smart choices for their brain, body and mental health even amongst pressure. Our middle school presentations include:

  • Truth About Vaping, Alcohol & Marijuana
  • Coping and Refusal Skills
  • Social Norms (Majority of Middle & High School Students Don’t Use)
  • Setting & Protecting Your Goals
  • Positive Decision Making

As young founders of a youth movement, we are often asked to speak at various events like leadership conferences, teen institutes, mental health summits, career technical education (CTE) conferences, church youth groups and other youth events.  We truly enjoy investing in young people and would love to support your event.

  • Leadership & Influence
  • Social Skills
  • Mental Health & Wellness
  • Student Entrepreneurship
  • Social Change

Parents & Community

The experience of youth consists of school, guardians, family, teachers, counselors and many others. Educating parents and professionals about substance use will help amplify our efforts and effectiveness in reducing drug use among youth. We offer live presentations to your community and a recording can be sent to any parents who might not be able to attend.

  • Learn popular substances among youth and how to identify if your teen is using
  • Best practices for preventing substance use in your home
  • How to talk with your kids about drugs and alcohol

Elementary school messages are split into K-2 and 3-5 age groups. The younger kids will learn SEL coping skills like what to do when they’re sad. We emphasize that a healthy mind and body is something to protect. We can help them define a drug (medicine, legal, illegal) and the idea that we only should use drugs that are from a doctor or a parent/guardian. As students in grades 3-5 are sometimes vaping (or seeing it around), the older students can get a closer experience to our middle school presentation depending on what you need. Elementary School drug prevention speaker includes:

  • Dealing with Emotions
  • What is a Drug
  • Resiliency & Coping Skills
  • Protecting Your Future
  • Healthy Mind & Body
